You take your translation to the caterpillar and he looks to the mushrooms, giving a loud “HARUMPH”. You inquire how you might grow to your original size and leave through the door, but he just continues to grumble to himself and smoke a strange greenish liquid. The protege said that his passion for the craft was the reason for his departure, but you have a not-so-sneaking suspicion someone else’s attitude may have played a role as well…
You take a look at the mushroom grove, and think about the protege’s specific phrasing: “taken root”. Which mushroom should you eat to grow bigger and reach the door? Choose carefully! If you shrink more, you may not be able to reach other mushrooms and be stuck here forever!
